So I went camping with some friends over the past winter break :)
The Shanmei Campground in Nanzhuang, Miaoli is located at an altitude of about 1000m. The campground is surrounded by cherry blossoms, cypresses, and cedar trees. You can also watch fireflies from April to June! This campground is very suitable for families with children or for a group of friends to make memories together:)
Penglai River Ecological Park
The Penglai River Ecological Park is the first stream in Miaoli that took action to protect fish. To present the most primitive ecology of the Penglai Creek, team members used their hands, instead of machinery, to create a "handmade" trail!
杉美露營區
位於海拔約1000m的苗栗南庄杉美露營區遍佈山櫻，落羽松，杉木。4-6月還可以看螢火蟲。寬闊的野地還有很多森林親子設備！很適合有小朋友的家庭或一群朋友一起出遊～
蓬萊溪護魚步道
蓬萊溪護魚步道是苗栗第一條為護魚做出行動的溪流。為了呈現蓬萊溪最原始的生態等風貌，隊員用親手搬運做出了一條「純手工」的步道！
